Searching the Collection

At the present time only single collections can be searched - the one loaded in your window. Searches for names of taxa, localities or persons (or any string of text) are limited to those using the "Find" command that is a part of most browers.

In Internet Explorer: In the Main Menu choose Edit, then Find (in this page) .... The search will occur in the active frame, so click on the section of the window containing the text you want searched before conducting the search.

In Netscape Navigator: In the Main Menu choose Edit, then Find in Page ... The search will occur in the active frame, so click on the section of the window containing the text you want searched before conducting the search.

A search engine for the entire collection is being developed.
